Cone-Mounted Impact-Activated Sensor
The cone-mounted sensor is impact-activated and designed to provide system alerts when a deployed cone-mounted sensor is struck. When activated, the sensor communicates with coordinated AudibleCone™ system components to initiate audible and wearable alerts.
The system is intended to augment existing traffic control plans by introducing an additional active alert layer without prescribing deployment methods.

What the Sensor Is Intended to Detect
The cone-mounted sensor is positioned within a defined boundary created by existing traffic cones and is activated when impacted.
When impacted, the sensor communicates with the AudibleCone™ system to initiate audible and tactile (wearable device) active alerts delivered through coordinated system components.
This impact-triggered activation introduces an active alert layer within environments where noise, distraction, or limited visibility may affect awareness.
Mounting and Compatibility
The sensor is intended to mount directly to commonly used traffic cones without permanent modification.
Variations in cone geometry are accommodated through the device mounting design.
